Medical Myth Series

I’m starting another content series. This time Medical Myths. It’s not palatable to the mainstream healthcare crowd (like all my efforts I guess) but certain medical approaches need to be called out. We do forget that every century is littered by false medical theories, and we certainly shouldn’t and must not think that this century is any different. We even forget wearing gloves was a must to prevent virus transmission even in a community, but that is just forgotten. There are no calls for making professionals accountable for bad advice, it’s a process they (mainstream healthcare professionals) need to go through to find truth (Scientific method).

This convenient obfuscation of accountability is asinine. Hiding behind ‘process’ and further supported by policy makers enables a license to mislead and still no consequences. There is no skin in the mainstream healthcare game. There needs to be fear of losing something personal versus making a community health policy which is ineffective. I’m also talking about obesity, autoimmune disease, and all the other chronic disease complex. This series is designed to give constructive insights into how we can reduce theory errors (and yes my emotion may be less constructive at times). Also many ‘theories’ don‘t deserve to be classed as such, they fit into hypothesis more. I’ll cover that more also.

There will be some old ground covered but in certain contexts and illustrations this will be essential to make a point and for one off listeners/viewers. Among the first videos will be a requested book review - diet and exercise! The exclamation mark there the regulars will know what that’s about. So I hope this addition to my content will be valued to at least some, and I won’t be wondering I should have done something decades from now. It’s also a challenge on my part to keep testing my own sanity and convictions. I will eat my hat on YouTube if I end up the schmuck in this pursuit. I also invite interview critiques, not a problem.

Enjoy, I know the production value is in the gutter but if there is traction of what I advocate then there will also be traction on production quality on my part. I know the reverse some will suggest but I don’t buy it in my case. it’s the words and health concepts that need to be pumped out there that counts I believe.
